These last few months have been a challenge for everyone, and we are so grateful to each and every one of you for supporting us through the Shelter in Place.
As things gradually begin to reopen, we've been faced with the difficult task of trying to decide when it is safe to resume our regular home visits.
Connection is fundamental to our business, and we love the opportunity to work with you face-to-face. The nature of going from one house to another means there are many opportunities for accidental spread through the community, on our clothes, and through all of the small ways we each make mistakes. We understand that you are all being vigilant, but it is our responsibility - not yours- to ensure that all of our clients are protected, and that our business does not become a vector for exposure, especially for the vulnerable communities that we serve.
The state of California's guidelines ask businesses such as Technology Simplified to "limit exposure for field technicians and personnel by implementing remote diagnostics and self-install/repair strategies, e.g. support through video calls and instruction videos, wherever possible."
For these reasons, we feel that we cannot in good conscience resume in-person appointments for the time being.
Please trust that we miss you all, and are closely monitoring the situation. We'll let you all know as soon as possible when we feel it is safe to return to working with you in your homes.
